The venerable Lutherhaus Eisenach is pleased to open its doors to the youngest museum visitors. Preschoolers with their teachers can discover the Lutherhaus’s permanent exhibition with a “discovery bag”! It holds three objects and stories that go with them. Children may hunt for the objects in the exhibition. Afterward, they are read stories appropriate for children.

Ai Weiwei or “Who Is the Man in Concrete?”

“Man in a cube” is the name of the work of art by internationally renowned artist Ai Weiwei in the courtyard of the Lutherhaus. Our art workshop invites you to learn about this exceptional sculpture as well as something about the life of the famous Chinese dissident. You will be able to make a small mold yourself, thus learning something about the making of “man in a cube”.
