Guided Tours

Our exhibition has been redesigned to be self-guided. Exceptional exhibition objects and various media stations enable you to discover on your own how, why and with whom Luther translated the Bible and what impact Luther’s translation of the Bible has had down to the present. Since there is so much to explore on your own, guided tours through the permanent exhibition are neither necessary and nor offered by the Lutherhaus.
If you really want a guided tour through the Lutherhaus, though, contact the so-called “Luther Finders”. These city tour guides specially trained by the Evangelical Church in Central Germany will introduce you to the major Luther sites as they show you the city of Eisenach and will guide you through the permanent exhibition “Luther and the Bible” at the Lutherhaus upon request.
A visit to the Lutherhaus is already included in the thematic guided tour “In Luther’s Footsteps”. Naturally, this guided tour also includes an explanation of the Lutherhaus’s new exhibition concept and can be booked in German or English.
We regret that it is not possible to visit the Lutherhaus outside of its regular hours.
